Gaff (Chubby Nuts!) PQ – What a Gent! Kind, considerate, great company. Tolerated my erratic golf for many years and he loved caravanning with my tribe. He will be sorely missed for many a year to come. Miss you PQ! Soose (Scoosey Woosey) Paul/PQ/Q/Cuboid – I think I called you them all! What can I say? Thank you so much for being such a big part of our lives for the last 25 years. You have seen J&B grow up from the start to where they are now, and have been kind, generous and interested in them both. We have had many holidays with various children and dogs, most notably the Thorpeness weeks – I can picture you cooking bacon in the morning (having bought local bread first!) and eating fish & chips in the evening – oh, and clearing up whatever happened in the awning during the night! I will miss making your birthday cake – with strawberries and real cream – had to be real! We are missing you so much already …. And as promised, I am looking after Mrs T Rubble the best I can …. Xx Jim (Jimbobdinho, Jibba of the Jabba) Uncle Paul – there are four memories: My ears - you have shaped them for life! Picking me up by my ears since I was literally born – they’ve never been the same since! Our handshake - I will treasure our unique handshake – and will remember that last one in Thorpeness, just a few weeks ago - it was special. ‘Doodles’ – if you know, you know! Smell Good – you taught me to smell the best you can, all the time. Thank you. xxx Becky/Bex (Bumpster Boo!) Dearest Uncle Paul. We all miss you so very much. I’ll always remember when we watched the Cojo’s Christmas Spectacular show together and you said to me “That’ll be you next year, Bumpster!” … and a year later I was smiling away on that Snape Maltings Concert Hall stage - I’ll be forever grateful for that. Thank you for always supporting me and Jimbo in everything we do. You truly were an absolute legend and I’ll forever cherish the memories of you throwing me around at Thorpeness when I was little, or just simply hearing you say “Hello Bumpster Boo!” whenever I saw you – or singing “What’s that coming over the hill? Is it a Bumpster?!!” Rest peacefully Uncle Paul and keep on smelling fresh! 💗
